The Secret to Building Healthy Habits that Actually Last

Tell me if this sounds familiar…

You buy a program.

Get ZERO results from it.

Try the 21 day this or that.

Try another program because the last one didn’t work.

Read a million blog posts that just confuse you.

Contemplate getting ANOTHER program.

Resolve you’ll never quit.

Start restricting food on a consistent basis.

Cry because it isn’t working.

Feel your energy start failing.

Resort to truckloads of caffeine.

Contemplate quitting again, this time for real…you’ve had enough.

Try one final time to make it work because you’re determined.

6 months later you’re still stuck.

Get frustrated…

That’s it, it’s over…

Unfortunately, this is most people’s reality when it comes to pursuing their health, fitness, and weight loss goals.

Here’s the thing . . .

The strict meal plans never hold up beyond a few days or weeks, right?

We know you’re going to have cravings for 🍫...

And let’s be honest, life can get crazy so having a 4-5 day workout schedule may never be your reality.

You know that too... that’s probably why you’re reading 📖 this...

You may feel a little 🤷🏽‍♀️ or 😩 because nothing has panned out....

Contrary to what many people believe, reaching your health and fitness goals doesn’t require you to organize your entire life around spending hours in the gym each day or tracking every single thing you eat.

Rather than fighting so hard to change your life to fit a strict program, the secret to success is following a program that fits your life.

You deserve more than struggling to reach your goals only to fall back into the habits that lead to needing the program in the first place.

Over the past decade, my Boston personal training team and I have learned a lot from helping hundreds of busy professionals make positive lifestyle changes, get stronger, lose weight, and keep it off for good.

One of the most important lessons has been this . . .  the secret to lasting change is that a program or routine shouldn’t be so rigid that you can’t adapt.

Fad diets and quick fixes come and go but the path to your success doesn’t need to be a roadmap of where not to go.

GPS wouldn’t be very effective if it told you which turn not to take, right?True, life-changing results are achieved through focusing on what you can confidently do and aiming to build healthy, sustainable habits one at a time.

The “one at a time” is the secret.

Trying to do too much, too fast is a recipe for anxiety and frustration.

Small daily victories are the blueprint for avoiding burnout.

And it’s always the “simple” stuff that makes the biggest impact and delivers the most powerful long-term results.

There’s no magic pill, but the habits below do work some magic when done consistently.

💫 Eat colorful, nutrient dense foods

💫 Lift weights 2-3x/week

💫 Drink lots of water

💫 Consume protein with every meal

💫 Get quality sleep every night

Start with one goal that you are 100% confident you can achieve everyday for the next couple of weeks. 🚀

Once you start accumulating daily victories, you’ll build confidence and momentum and you will be blown away at how fast your life begins to change. 🤯

Even if you struggled 1,000 times, by taking this approach, you’ll be on your way to building healthy habits for life (and building the body you want).
