CHRIS CARREIRO, MA, CSCS, CPT

Chris is the head personal trainer and founder of Aum Training Center. His personal journey to overcome illness fuels his passion for helping others reclaim their health. After years of experiencing digestive problems and then undergoing a major jaw surgery, Chris learned how to heal his body with a holistic approach to fitness and nutrition.

It was Chris’ belief in the transformative power of a holistic lifestyle that inspired him to found Aum Training Center. Over the past 10 years, he has served as a trusted coach to many of Boston’s top business, education and health care leaders. Through combining world-class personal training with cutting-edge nutrition consulting, Chris and his team work everyday to guide their clients toward strengthening their minds and bodies.

Chris’ unique background includes a Master’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in life coaching along with several personal training and nutrition certifications including the accreditation Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certified Coach. When he is not coaching or training, you’ll likely find him reading a book in the Public Garden or playing Frisbee on Boston Common.

 

NICOLE SORRENTO - Coach

NICOLE Sorrento, CPT

Nicole has been a fitness enthusiast since her high school years. Despite graduating with a degree in Graphic Design, Nicole realized during her first year out of college that she was drawn to one thing, fitness. When she got a trial membership at a local gym (that included a couple of free one-to-one personal training sessions), she knew it was time to pursue a career as a professional personal trainer and become certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

Nicole is a well-respected personal trainer and fitness coach. She specializes in weight loss, holistic nutrition and helping clients build energy, strength, and confidence. Nicole especially enjoys helping women embrace strength training rather than fear it. When she isn’t training, Nicole enjoys painting, cooking, and spending time in nature.

 

ERIKA ZEWIEY - Coach

ERIKA ZEWIEY, CPT

Erika is a dedicated personal trainer who has earned her reputation as one of the most dynamic fitness coaches in the area. Mentorship in physical therapy early in her professional career equipped Erika with the knowledge and expertise to help clients optimize their fitness results.

A Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology and advanced nutrition certifications are the foundation for Erika's holistic approach to health and weight loss. She is passionate about guiding her clients through education and dedication to building healthy, lean, and vibrant bodies from the inside out.

Nothing makes her happier than seeing her clients reach their goals.

When Erika is not training, she enjoys traveling, spending time at the beach, walking her dog, and listening to podcasts about fitness and health.

 

JUSTIN MACK - Coach

JUSTIN MACK, CPT

Justin has been a fitness professional for over 5 years, during which time he's become recognized as one of the most caring, knowledgeable personal trainers around. He first fell in love with fitness during high school and, since then, he’s wanted to share his passion with others who want to become healthier, fitter, and stronger. Since earning a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Exercise and a Master’s Degree in Strength and Conditioning, Justin has worked with people of all age groups and backgrounds.

He believes that training is about far more than just lifting weights and breaking a sweat. Helping his clients build a stronger mindset and healthy habits for life is what he loves most about coaching. His goal is to make fitness fun. When Justin isn’t training, he enjoys reading, playing basketball, practicing Tae Kwon Do, and spending time with his family.

 

SKYLER COBURN - Coach
MS, EP-C, CPT

Skyler Coburn, MS, EP-C, CPT

Skyler first gained an interest in fitness as a kid and this interest grew into a passion that ultimately led him to get both undergraduate and graduate degrees in exercise kinesiology. His career began in a medical setting, where he helped patients with heart conditions to regain their health.  Several years later, Skyler left the hospital to pursue one-on-one personal training and do what he loves most - helping everyday people get stronger, build confidence, and make the gym their “happy place.”

He specializes in resistance training, core strengthening, fat loss, and functional fitness. What makes his day is seeing his clients do things they didn’t think were possible. Skyler believes that when you feel healthy and strong, you excel in life. Regardless of whether you’re a complete beginner or more advanced, he can help you reach your next fitness goals in a fun, sustainable way.

Outside of personal training, Skyler enjoys playing guitar, traveling, and watching funny movies with family and friends.
